Fiji is a nice place to visit but at the same time it has a number of disadvantages.  First of all the weather on the island is rather unpredictable. Sometimes tropical cyclones can occur. There are even some volcanoes in the country.  Local food can be bad for our stomachs too, Some time ago there was political instability in the country which also can be considered a disadvantage. Not knowing the local traditions can lead to unpleasant incidents. The island is situtated very far from other continents which  does sound very optimistic.  Wildlife of the island can have hidden risks too.  Underwater diving cannot be considered absolutely safe.
