My father never spoke about his life in Spain. But once I saw white scars on his body. I asked my father about them. “Thomas”, he said, “There is a country called Spain where your mother was born. There these devils live. They torture men and women and burn them alive in the name of Christ. The enemy of your mother betrayed me into their hands.
